You just got a whole lot luckier, because my go-to baby gift, dolls by Blah Blah Kids… just got a heck of a lot cuter (if that is even possible).  These adorable knit creatures now have adorable little costumes to dress them up in and with choices like baker, bird and pirate… I’m not sure which to get first!  So heads up all you mamas in my life… pretty sure a little knit costumed guy is in your future.

Dear Uncle Keith,

I am writing this letter on behalf of your niece Piper.  She has become aware of your carpentry skills and has put in a request for a fabulous playhouse.  I have gathered some photos on her behalf which I am promptly forwarding to you.  Piper has been quite specific in her needs in her future play home… shutters, window boxes, a real door and a ladder of sorts.  Being that Piper is currently not even 3 months old, she has decided to give you a bit of time to come to her with blueprints and specs for her approval.  Perhaps her 2nd birthday would be a good goal for a completion date.  We look forward to working with you, Uncle Keith.

Dear Mommy Blubber,

Today starts Operation Loose the Baby Blubber but in the meantime… this lady needs some new jeans.  And while I may be a self confessed label snob, I also needed a reality check as I started trying on jeans with $200 price tags, knowing (well hoping) that I wouldn’t be this size forever.  So, I wiped my tears as I looked at the new size on the waistband, picked up my purse and ran myself to the Gap.  Not only did I find, a rainbow of colored jeans that made my heart skip a beat… the price tag fit my temporary (please, God) waist band.  Note to self… price doesn’t matter… style and fit is much more important!

Sorry, for the unexpected week off from blogging last week.  We rushed home to NJ to attend a wake of a family member… so here we all are, two 13 hour car rides later and we are back in action!

Yes, it is true!  I am already gathering ideas for Piper’s first birthday party… even though she is 2.5 months old.  What can I say, it needs to be perfect and first on my list is the cake topper… right now, anything on a skewer seems to be winning the race!
