SPARKLE is a girl’s best friend

Part 5 – Fall Trends

What girl doesn’t like a little sparkle? Personally, I’m a deer in headlights when I see something with a little shimmer.  I just stand and stare and get absorbed into the sparkle.  Whether it’s diamonds, a striped gold foil envelope liner, or a metallic bag… I am instantly attracted to it.  That’s why I am so ecstatic over the new Fall trend for sequins.  And these shiny little numbers are no longer just for evening.  Gone are the days of Dynasty and Dallas… now sequins can be worn in the daytime.  Just be sure to balance your new sequin daytime look with casual chic clothing.  Linda Evans eat your heart out!

Sparkle

Sequined Skirt… J.Crew has already sold out of this amazing skirt.  But call around to some stores… you may just fine one.

Pillows…  I found these at Rebecca’s Furniture and Design.  I love the idea of putting this on an old beat up chair … a little ying and yang!

Clutch…  I love this for an evening bag with jeans and heels.

Bow hair comb… I love this comb stuck in a bun.  So classic with a little flair.

Invitation… Is it weird to order invitations for my own birthday party?  I just love the foil dots… looks just like sequins.

Bulk sequins… Feeling inspired?  Go ahead and do some bedazzling yourself.

Gold leaf headband… I so want to wear this with a white t-shirt and ripped jeans (folded at the bottom – of course)

Flower necklace…  how stunning is this!!??  You can definitely dress this up or down… t-shirt and jeans or a black cocktail dress!

  1. I am loving this series you are doing on fall trends! These sparkly items are amazing and I am a girl that loves to add that final touch to an outfit or home. I may have to go purchase all of these items now!
