Dear Cleaning Lady,
I am guessing by now, you must think I am an utterly lazy individual. The dotted garland, that I hung so meticulously two weeks ago for Leah’s shower, is still hanging upon the chandelier and mouldings. It is not laziness, I assure you, but sadness really. How can I take down something that I so painstakingly put together and frankly, love! It makes me happy… what can I say! Each morning, I walk underneath my canopy of dots and a slight spring is brought to my step.
I have come to the realization that eventually all good things must come to an end. So, in two weeks time, when you arrive again, duster in hand, my precious creation will be dismantled… I promise… well, maybe!

I was wondering if you made that. I googled every type of garland to look for it! I found very cute pom garland, but nothing like yours. I am going to attempt to make some for a polka dot themed two year old party. Any hints?
It was adorable and I don’t blame you for not taking it down.
Hey Jennifer,
The garland was super easy… just a bit time consuming. I used bakers twine for the string and a 1 inch circle hole punch. Use a glue stick and glue two circles together with the string sandwiched in between. I did each 3 inches a part!
Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!
Great Garland collection! Garlands, like a bunch of balloons, just make anything feel festive and fun. I can understand why you wouldn’t want to take it down, it’s adorable. Maybe you could put it in her room?
