There I was, browsing the on-line pages of Kate Spade, when I spotted it…. the Kate Spade picnic bike basket!  It was as if I was in a dream…  perfectly woven straw, a watermelon patent leather top, the “springy-est” of spring flowered liner… ahhhh!  Only the minds at Kate Spade would dream up a bicycle basket at the price of $325 and have me instantly in need of one!  It conjures up all kinds of Kate Spade picnic dreams… the kind where wedge heels are appropriate, a tiny bird sits on my shoulder and my sunglasses are as big as the sun itself.  I want it, I need it and I have to have it … all of it… from the basket, to the wedges to the cute bow tied shorts!  Now I just need a bike!
