I happened to be browsing through one of my favorite blogs, Made by Girl, last week and saw this fabulous photo of a hallway painted in grey and white stripes.  Now, I just can’t seem to get it out of my head.  Since then, I’ve been trying to devise new ways of presenting this project to my husband and convincing him we should do this in our hallway at home.  After doing the wind up earlier today, my hopes and dreams were dashed!  In fact, I believe my husbands exact words were, “are you out of your mind!”  Awww nuts!  I should have known better… we did just have the house painted last month… but what’s a few buckets of paint between man and wife… right???

I guess I’ll just have to buy this gorgeous jacket from Kate Spade instead.  I believe it can be called a tie…  My husband gains a weekend free of paint and ladders and I walk away with a fab coat.  Tim 1 – Lauren 1 !!!  Definitely separated at birth!
