With cell and cordless phones getting smaller every day, I seem to be getting more obsessed with old fashioned telephones. How I used to love twisting the phone cord around my fingers and holding that fabulously large handset while hearing all the latest gossip from my friends. I fondly remember my teenage years, stretching the phone cord all the way around the corner of the kitchen into the other room, so my parents couldn’t hear me giggle about my newest crush. And who doesn’t love being able to slam a phone down in a fight… you can’t do that with a cordless phone. Somehow pressing the off button really hard just doesn’t have the same satisfaction. Not to mention, when the power goes out (my New York/New Jersey friends just learned this), you can’t charge your phones and talk on the cordless. So, not only is an old fashioned, plug in the wall, phone stylish… it’s also smart. So, power outages beware… no loss of electricity is going to stop this gabster from gabbing!

I have a princess phone in one of the bedrooms! Love the vintage phones. Great post!! xoxo
Such a neat post! That classic black one is my favorite.
I used to have a red old style dial phone from Pottery Barn but I gave it away. Love the post! I’ve been thinking about the classic phone after I saw it last week at Anthro(as a display)! Maybe I can flew back home to Thailand and take it from my grandmother’s house. Maybe no one will notice!
Thanks for a wonderful post!!!
