Call me vain, call me high maintenance… but, I like to look cute when I am outside working in my yard. I adore working the earth, getting my hands dirty and watching my hard labor grow into something. But, just because I am glowing (ladies don’t sweat, they glow), doesn’t mean I should look like a total wreck. Sure, I might have dirt under my nails and mud on my cheek… but my gardening gloves will be stylish and my boots will be quirky and fun. Let’s face it, it’s when I’m knee deep in dirt that I see the neighbors for the first time in months. I don’t want to look like a sad version of myself out there. Instead, it’s a perfect excuse to figure out a new messy ponytail look and see if that mascara is really waterproof. And who am I kidding, any excuse to accessorize and I’m in… who’s with me?!

I LOVE rain boots. And THOSE…my oh my, if I get them. It probably won’t rain for a while. I got my first pair a while back from J.Crew and I was waiting for it to rain because I really want to wear them. But it didn’t rain for a REALLY LONG TIME. Then when it finally raining, I just got my very first tattoo on my foot, so I couldn’t wear them. Love your post as always…girly!
