I’d call but I didn’t have your number

Posted On March 3rd, 2010

This is a message to all of you Crackberry lovers, IPhone lusters and technology fanatics… it can only take you so far!  In the end, they crash, get lost, drop in the toilet (it’s been known to happen) and can fail you miserably.  I might seem a little dramatic, but I think we all need to learn a lesson.  I may be an “iphoner”… it is my trusty companion, always by my side… but, I recently learned that having phone numbers and contact information written down is not only helpful but smart.  So find yourself a pretty book, a Rolodex or a box and put that stuff in a safe place.  Because if you are anything like me, you will get all the way home, realize you left your phone at work.  And for the life of you can’t remember a phone number of a friend you have to call, because if you miss their birthday again, you will be crossed out of their address book permanently.  Thank goodness, I had my handy address book on my desk… phew, that was a close one!

Write more… Type less,
Lauren

  1. I love your title!!! I really like buying phone/address book even though my phone can do all that for me. I think it makes it so much more special. :)

  5. Agreed. I’m also a proponent of a paper calendar.

  7. SUCH good advice. usually i only think of backing my blackberry up after something happens, so with such pretty ideas it should be easy!
