There are a few things, I just love in this world… well maybe more then a few… but one of them is letterpress. There is nothing like that fabulous indentation of words in ink that can get me eager to put pen to paper. Hence, the reason why I am so excited to feature my friends at Haute Papier in this week’s workspace feature. These ladies, know letterpress and they also know how to bring it to clients in a beautiful and elegant way, while not killing your wallet… what can be better! The minute I saw their silk box of stationery, filled with 100 pieces of personalized notes, and it was only $160… my knees became weak, my palms got sweaty and hives began to creep up my neck. I seriously couldn’t believe my eyes. I figured… it was a misprint… surely, they would catch it and send a note saying they had made a mistake. But to my utter joy, it was right and I have been giddy every since. Of course, their line features more then just a box of stationery… from invitations to their newly released vintage post card save-the-dates (available exclusively at Rock Paper Scissors), they combine classic style with modern flair.
Not only am I excited to feature their office this week, but I am even more excited because in April, they are coming to visit me down in Tennessee. They are making the trek from D.C. to drop by the shop, meet the clients and well… just have fun! Yay me!
Write more… Type less,
Lauren
