So, here’s the thing… I’m one of those Ra-Ra-Ra kind of Americans. I always stand up and put my hand on my heart when I hear the National Anthem… I cry when I hear “I’m proud to be an American” by Lee Greenwood and I clap when I see a soldier walk by in the airport. Yet, somehow I am absolutely in love with the Union Jack. There is just something about the design of the U.K’s flag that has me wanting it on pillows, rugs, t-shirts and more. Maybe it’s because I went to London and fell in love with the city… or because they use fun words like snogging and daft or maybe its just because it makes me feel worldly or something… all I know is I have a serious crush on Jack (sorry sweetie)!

I’m the same way! I always want to scoop up a union jack accessory when I see one. I think it’s my way of trying to recreate a little feel of London in the states. Oh and making scones helps!
I am right there with you! Everything seems so much more polished over there, right down to their flag. Great post!
I agree! Love this post and so many of their terms are cuter than ours ;D
