If there is one thing in our home I can not stand, it is my husband’s man cave! It’s a loft we had built over a portion of our first floor where all the orphan furniture went. If we redesigned a room or bought a new piece of furniture it all traveled upstairs into my husband’s home office… it was our own version of the Land of Misfit Toys. Slowly through the years, the room has been getting under my skin but there were other rooms to work on… other furniture to buy… other things to paint! But the time has finally come… the dining room will have to wait… inspiration please! I’m thinking a mix of modern vintage… hmmm…..

I wanted to buy a new lamp from circa lighting, but my boyfriend didn’t like it and suggested this- at first I laughed but now it is kind of growing on me-http://www.velocityartanddesign.com/aluminum-antler-lamp-base-pr-20056.html
maybe it will work for the man cave!
oh – i likey
Lauren, I’m so with you on this. My boyfriend and I recently moved into a much larger apartment, resulting in a man cave of his very own. What is it with men and these rooms? I’m almost embarrassed to admit this, but he has a framed picture of dogs playing poker above the couch in his man cave — a holdover from his college dorm room. Try as I might, there is no getting him to give that ugly thing away!!!
LOVE all of these items. Obsessed with that print of Manhattan… Great eye.
Does he like the mismatched look? If not, then I definitely like the direction this post is taking.
Good day! I just wish to give an enormous thumbs up for the nice information you’ve got here on this post. I can be coming again to your weblog for more soon.
