Holiday Wrap Up

Posted On December 23rd, 2009

When I say we do a ton of wrapping at my shop, Rock Paper Scissors, during the holiday season… I mean WE DO A TON OF WRAPPING!  Having a gift wrap service has it’s positives and negatives.  On the plus side, we get to see all the fabulous gifts our customers are giving their friends and family (yeah, we peek… don’t judge).  And who wouldn’t love to be surrounded by yummy wrap and ribbon and create fabulous packages for holiday memories.  On the down side… my friends and family get the short end of the stick.  By the time I get around to wrapping their gifts… I’m over it… they are lucky to get wrapping paper and a little baker’s twine… ha ha ha.  Well… that’s not exactly true because my obsessive compulsive nature makes me painstakingly wrap all of their gifts… I just complain about it along the way.

So, I decided to snap a few shots through the season, so I can show you all of the shops cutting, pasting and taping.  Enjoy!

P.S.  please excuse the poor photography… all photos were taken my moi and I’m no Annie Leibovitz.

  9. i luvs these. i saw them on la vie j’aime, & i’d commented that i luvs the idea of using candy in wrapping, but given my inevitable procrastination every year, i always end up wrapping until the wee hours of christmas morning… candy added to that would only be bringing a jump start to my calorie consumption!

i think my favourite is the last one. even though it doesn’t have any candy on it [i don't think...?] it has a very yummy vibe to it. like rich dark chocolate.

    luvly
