You know. . . I feel bad for the turkey. Sure he gets one pardon a year from the president and he is super popular come the last Thursday of November… But we don’t think of him very much other then now. The poor guy is underrated. After all, him and billions of his feathered wobble necked friends work all year for our one day of gluttony. And what do we do??? Break his cute little wishbone and bid him adieu till next year. And with retailers pushing Christmas earlier and earlier every year… He nearly is all but skipped over. We go from ghosts to elves overnight and poor Tom and his pilgrim friends are left out in the cold. So, this Thanksgiving tip your hat to our fine feathered friend… because he sure is one mighty tasty bird.

Great post! I love those turkeys at the top! Great to know how to make.
Love your blog. Also have a dumb question…do you put these together using Photoshop or Adobe Illustrator? The look is fabulous!
How cute are these?! I made Paper Source turkey place setting for a Thanksgiving dinner w/ my friends this past weekend- they came out really cute too!
I totally agree. Plus, he has an awesome name. Oh, and I think it should be illegal to sell or display Christmas things (except customized cards) before November 26. That’s just me.
